Scottie Scheffler absolutely dominated the field at the 2025 CJ Cup Byron Nelson tournament, finishing with an astounding 31-under final score on Sunday.
The World No. 1 golfer capped off his incredible week with an 8-under 63, winning the tournament by eight strokes over second-place finisher Erik van Royen.
11 years ago, Scheffler made his PGA Tour debut at the Byron Nelson tournament as a high school senior. Now, the 28-year-old golfer captures his 14th career PGA Tour win.
Scheffler nearly set the all-time PGA Tour record for lowest combined score in a 72-hole event, but a bogey on No. 17 saw him finish in a tie with fellow record holders Ludvig Aberg and Justin Thomas.
"Wire-to-wire win for the hometown hero Dallas native Scottie Scheffler claims his 14th TOUR title by EIGHT," the PGA Tour wrote on X.

Scheffler made light work of TPC Craig Ranch this week, opening with a 10-under 61 on Thursday. He followed that tournament-best score with a 63 in Round 2 and a 66 in Round 3.
Scheffler birdied or eagled nearly every par 5 this week, shooting a combined 14-under on those holes.
Scheffler, a Dallas native, put on a show for his home-town crowd. Scheffler was born in New Jersey, but his parents moved the family back to Texas when he was 6 years old.
"Dallas became home pretty quickly for us as kids, and I couldn’t really imagine living anywhere else," Scheffler said in an interview last year. "All [my wife's] family pretty much lives here. All my family pretty much lives here. So, Dallas is home for us.”
Scheffler, a two-time Masters champion, will look to add to his major championship list in his appearance at the PGA Championship later this month.
