This past weekend's Byron Nelson Classic in at TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney, Texas brought out professional golf's biggest stars, including Scottie Scheffler who shot 31-under to beat second place finisher Erik van Rooyen by eight strokes.
Scheffler held off a rally attempt from Jordan Spieth and outstanding performances from several other players to hold onto a lead that he took early on during the event and never looked back from.
On Monday, the PGA kept the news update train rolling as they shared information on a new venture involving tour stars Jordan Spieth and Luke Clanton.
The Tour announced the organization is launching its first weekly show originating from PGA Tour Studios, premiering Monday at 8 p.m. ET on the GOLF Channel and on the PGA Tour YouTube and FAST Channels.
The first episode of the half-hour show will include rising star Luke Clanton, who recently punched his ticket to the PGA Tour after starring at Florida State University and making the cut at the Cognizant Classic as an amateur this past winter.
The show will feature Clanton visiting the PGA Tour Headquarters in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
Clanton will be joined by 13-time PGA Tour winner Jordan Spieth as he prepares for the Truist Championship this weekend at the Philadelphia Cricket Club.
Clanton is expected to make his first start as a PGA Tour professional at the RBC Canadian Open from June 4-8 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
