PGA Tour stars commit to 2025 Rocket Classic

Recent player commitments bring a combined 68 PGA TOUR wins, 24 Presidents Cup and 21 Ryder Cup appearances, cementing it as one of the strongest fields in tournament history

Keegan Bradley, Patrick Cantlay, Max Homa, Zach Johnson, Tom Kim, Min Woo Lee, Aaron Rai and Brandt Snedeker have committed to Detroit’s Rocket Classic Presented by AlumniFi set for June 25-29 at Detroit Golf Club.

“Together, they shape one of the strongest fields in tournament history,” according to a release.

The 2025 tournament lineup boasts a combined 68 PGA TOUR wins, 24 Presidents Cup appearances and 21 Ryder Cup appearances among committed players. Bradley, who will make his fifth appearance at the  Detroit Golf Club has eight top-25 finishes in his first 13 starts this season, including a T-8 at the PGA Championship.

His best finish came at the 2021 Rocket Classic, where he placed T-14.

Morikawa is the highest-ranked committed player at No. 4 in the Official World Golf Ranking.

“Sponsor exemptions confirmed for the Rocket Classic Presented by AlumniFi include Michigan State’s Ashton McCulloch, University of Mississippi junior Michael La Sasso, Alabama’s Dominic Clemons and the future winner of THE JOHN SHIPPEN National Invitational presented by Rocket,” according to the release.

Since 2019, the Rocket Classic Presented by AlumniFi has invested nearly $10 million into local charitable organizations, including contributions to the event’s landmark “Changing the Course” initiative, which has played a vital role in bridging the digital divide in Detroit.
