The second day of the Ryder Cup has started with all its energy, and Team USA will be looking to undo some of its mistakes that made it trail behind Team Europe in Friday’s session. The underwhelming performance by Keegan Bradley’s squad surely upset the fans as the USA will start its second day with a score of 5.5 – 2.5. But to bring back the lost enthusiasm of the crowd, it looks like the Ryder Cup team is ready to toe any lines. Disrespecting Rory McIlroy is one of them.
In what is coming across as a video taken moments before the beginning of a round, a mic announcer is heard trying to amp up the crowd for their support for Team USA. After constant repetition of “De-Cham-beau”, and the crowd’s low response, the announcer is heard saying, “F*** you, Rory!”
They have someone MCing the first tee trying to lead chants and it is not working /resulting in boos. A De-Cham-beau led chant lasted couple beats before turning into a “F U Rory” which also came over the mic. pic.twitter.com/rxewFa9cAj

The video shared by Brendon Porath made its way across social media in a minute, garnering 100k+ views. People are commenting, expressing their disdain at the poor sportsmanship of the organizers. One commentator wrote, “Oh my, the fact the person in the microphone said it .. too far, just too far.“
Similar reactions poured in, some of which were:
“Embarrassing as always.”
“Fans can chant what they want, but the announcer chanting F U Rory over the mic is a disgrace.”
“Getting the crowd going is great, but the Rory chant should be instant dismal. Wayyyyy out of order.”
After this, when Rory McIlory stepped on the course, the damage was done, and the crowd kept sporadically cursing him. But Rory, being Rory, he just looked around and gave them a flying kiss before hooking his tee shot into the gallery.
