Scottie Scheffler was fired up after winning the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, N.C., on Sunday.

Scheffler shot a 71 in the final round on Sunday — by far his worst round of the tournament — and he still won the event running away. Scheffler’s total score of -11 for the event was five better than anyone else. Bryson DeChambeau, Harris English and Davis Riley finished tied for second at 6-under par.

The win at Quail Hollow gave Scheffler his third career major. He was super pumped up and celebrated by spiking his hat. Then he was captured sharing a 7-word message.

“F–k yeah. That’s what I’m talking about,” he could be seen saying to caddie Ted Scott.

Scheffler was full of energy after that. He then got to celebrate with his wife and baby son, as well as other members of his family.

Scheffler entered the event No. 1 in the Official World Golf Ranking, and he cemented his status as the best golfer in the world at the moment. Since 2020, his performance at majors has been outstanding. He has won three majors, finished tied for second twice, third once, fourth or tied for fourth twice. He has finished at least tied for the top ten at a major fourteen times.

Scheffler now needs to win a Masters and US Open to complete the career grand slam. You can figure he’s got his eyes set on that next.
