Tiger Woods' 12-year-old son Charlie steals the show at PNC Championship

The PNC Championship was Tiger Woods' return to the golf course 10 months after a serious car accident in February, but it was his son Charlie who had everyone's attention at the tournament.

The Woods duo teamed up for a tournament-record 11 consecutive birdies and were just one stroke off the lead heading into the final hole. John Daly and his son, John Daly II, managed to hold off Team Woods with a birdie on the 18th hole to win by two strokes. John Daly II is a freshman on the Arkansas Razorbacks golf team.

Charlie Woods, 12, wowed spectators throughout the tournament with poise, confidence and plenty of incredible shots.

“Charlie and I had a blast playing together again, playing with the Thomas family; again, we’re extremely close, so it was a bunch of fun there, was a lot of needling going on the entire day,” Tiger Woods said after the first round Saturday, via his website. “We’re pulling pranks on each other and giving each other some under-the-breath remarks that I’m glad they didn’t capture. We had a great time. It was just a blast, and we had a blast last year on the first year it was the same. We had so much fun out there.”

The father-son duo also competed in the PNC Father Son Challenge in 2020, but finished seventh.
