A major sporting event like the Masters should be a sportsbook's dream, but when a lot of people start betting on a massive underdog to win outright, that's something that will make any bookmaker sweat.
Enter Tiger Woods: 15-time major winner and five-time wearer of the coveted green jacket.
Woods is one of the most celebrated golfers at Augusta National, where he last won the Masters as an underdog in 2019. The excitement of Tiger back at the course has avid golf fans and sports bettors alike flocking to put money down on him to win this weekend, even though he is a major long shot at big-time sportsbooks across the country. This makes Woods one of the Masters' biggest liabilities heading into the weekend.
With 4.3% of all bets to win and at 70/1 to win it, Tiger Woods is @DKSportsbook’s top Masters liability.

Golf enthusiasts know this isn't the first time Woods has made sportsbooks nervous in recent history. The 47-year-old drew a lot of bets ahead of last year's Masters, which was his first event since he was badly injured in a car accident in February 2021. Suffice to say, bookmakers were breathing many sighs of relief when Woods finished 47th.
Now it's just a matter of seeing what Woods brings to the table on Thursday when he tees off at 10:18 a.m. ET at the 2023 Masters.
