Golf legend Tiger Woods is back on the golfing scene and is going to start the 2024 season with a new caddie on his bag. Veteran caddie Lance Bennett will be looping for Woods at the Genesis Invitational this week, as his former caddie Joe LaCava is now working for Patrick Cantlay.
Bennett has a long history of caddying for some of the biggest names in golf, including Matt Kuchar , Sungjae Im, and most recently, PGA Tour rookie Adrien Dumont de Chassart. It is not certain or clear if Bennett will continue to caddie for Woods after this week. Some though believe that Woods could work with a few different loopers as he is open to using multiple caddies in 2024.
The Genesis Invitational is a big event for Woods, as it will be his first PGA Tour start since undergoing surgery for plantar fasciitis (ankle surgery) in his right foot last year. Due to his injury he had to withdraw from the Masters during the third round in April and did not participate again until the Hero World Challenge in late November.
Tiger had to work hard for himself at the PNC tournament and the Hero World Challenge. His business partner and vice president of TGR Ventures Rob McNamara carried his bag in the Bahamas. Meanwhile, at the PNC Championship his daughter Sam caddied for him while also cheering on for her brother Charlie Woods.

It started with a passion. The passion of competing. Of competing against ourselves. The field. The course. Life. Out of that passion, @SunDayRed rises.

Now It will be interesting to see what the golf legend will accomplish with his new brand partners as he sets to make another comeback at the upcoming Genesis Invitational 2024.
