Who is leading the Genesis Scottish Open 2024 before the final round?

The Genesis Scottish Open 2024 is underway, and Ludvig Aberg is leading the standings on Sunday. He has a two-stroke edge over Robert MacIntyre. The tournament is taking place at The Renaissance Club in North Berwick, Scotland. Aberg is aiming for the second PGA Tour victory in his career.

Meanwhile, MacIntyre, the local favorite, hopes to be the first Scottish champion in 25 years. Other noteworthy golfers including Rory McIlroy, Adam Scott, Collin Morikawa , and Sahith Theegala are within striking distance of the lead.

The final round will be an exciting clash between Aberg and MacIntyre, who will be partnered together for the last 18 holes. The competition is intense, with many top players still in the mix. McIlroy, the previous year’s winner, is five strokes behind but still has a chance to claim the title.

Genesis Scottish Open 2024: Current Leaderboard

The leaderboard is crowded to say the least. Collin Morikawa, Sahith Theegala, Sungjae Im , and Antoine Rozner are all at 13 under par. The tournament is a warm-up for the Open Championship. It is an enhanced Rolex Series event on the DP World Tour.

This year’s Genesis Scottish Open carries a prize purse of $9 million. The final round begins at 9:14 a.m. on Sunday, with the last pairing teeing off at 3:40 p.m. The tournament will be aired live on Sky Sports Golf, with additional coverage on ESPN+ and Golf Channel/CBS.
