The PGA Tour heads to San Diego this week for the Farmers Insurance Open at the iconic Torrey Pines Golf Course. With no Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, Xander Schauffele or Collin Morikawa in the field, it's tough to pin down a favorite for this week.
Check out who grabbed the top spot in our power rankings for the Farmers Insurance Open, which begins Wednesday.
10. Max Homa
Homa failed to qualify for the Tour Championship last season and began 2025 with a pedestrian T26 at The Sentry. The California native isn't in great form, but he deserves to crack the top 10 as a former champion at Torrey Pines.
9. Taylor Pendrith
Driving distance is paramount at Torrey Pines considering the South Course is the longest course on the PGA Tour schedule every year. That benefits Pendrith, who ranked 10th on Tour last season in average driving distance (313.6). The Canadian finished T9 at this tournament last year.
8. Sungjae Im
Torrey Pines doesn't fit Im well on paper because he doesn't crush the ball off the tee, but he hass finished T6 or better in two of his past three starts here thanks to solid iron play and putting. The South Korean is coming off one of the worst approach weeks of his career at The American Express, so he gets pushed down to the No. 8 spot.
7. Tony Finau
Finau is also coming off a missed cut at La Quinta, but he has a stellar course history at Torrey Pines. The American has recorded six top-10 finishes in his past eight starts at the Farmers Insurance Open.
6. Will Zalatoris

Zalatoris already has three top-15 finishes at Torrey Pines, and he lost in a playoff to Luke List here three years ago. Coming off a healthy offseason, the 28-year-old is ready to get back in the winner's circle.
5. Keegan Bradley
Bradley had a strong finish to the 2024 season, and he kept the momentum rolling with a T15 at The Sentry and a T6 at the Sony Open in Hawaii. He also finished runner-up to Max Homa at the 2023 Farmers Insurance Open.
4. Max Greyserman
Is Greyserman the most underrated player on Tour? The 29-year-old has three runner-up finishes and five top-10s in his past eight starts. He bombs the ball off the tee and putts the lights-out, so Torrey should be a perfect fit for him.
3. Jason Day
Torrey Pines is one of Day's favorite golf courses on the PGA Tour schedule, as the Australian has two wins and seven top-10 finishes at this tournament. Day is also coming off a T3 finish at The American Express.
2. Hideki Matsuyama
Matsuyama kicked off his 2025 campaign by breaking the 72-hole PGA Tour scoring record in his dominant win at The Sentry. No one would be surprised if he added another victory to his portfolio this week.
1. Ludvig Aberg

Aberg is the best, most consistent golfer in this field now that the big guns have all pulled out. The rising superstar had a chance to win this event last year, but a few short misses on the greens doomed him in the final round. He returns to Torrey as the deserved favorite.
