Jordan Chiles Fangirls Over SZA at the AMAs in the Most Relatable Way

Olympian Jordan Chiles proved that she’s just like any true fan after meeting SZA at the AMAs.

On Monday she joined a slew of stars at the luxurious Fontainebleau Las Vegas for the annual ceremony. The 24-year-old was invited to join as one of the star-studded presenters at the award show.

During the event she took the stage in a backless and ab-baring burgundy top paired with a two-tone high-waisted skirt. The artistic gymnast dazzled on stage as she and fellow presenter, Wayne Brady handed off the Favorite Female Latin Artist award to Becky G.

Besides her moment on stage she had an unexpected encounter with the “Snooze” hitmaker after meeting her backstage.

Still wearing her burgundy outfit she and SZA posed for the cameras and shared a brief but warm interaction.

Chiles reposted the video on her Instagram Stories and left a two-word comment that perfectly captured the fangirl experience.

“Crying. Ahhhhh!” she wrote, expressing her admiration for the award-winning singer—because honestly, who wouldn’t lose it meeting SZA?

The 35-year-old hitmaker was among the winners at the annual ceremony and took home two awards. First was Favorite R&B Song for “Saturn” and then Favorite Female R&B Artist.

On the other hand, aside from her role as the show’s presenter the two-time Olympian made heads turn on the purple carpet.

Chiles wore a dress from Marine Serre’s Spring/Summer 2025 ready-to-wear collection.

The white ensemble featured a corset dress with an oval cutout lace detail at the chest that added an extra daring touch to the outfit.
