Gymnast Jordan Chiles' life has been a rollercoaster since the 2024 Paris Olympics. After playing a crucial role in helping Team USA win gold, she won an individual bronze medal on floor that was subsequently revoked under highly controversial circumstances.
Chiles, however, appears to have moved past the cycle of heartbreaking drama. The first-time author published her first book, "I'm That Girl," and returned to compete with the UCLA gymnastics team.
While Oklahoma's Jordan Bowser won the national all-around title, Chiles won the individual title on the uneven bars at the NCAA Gymnastics Championships. She earned a 9.9750 after sticking the landing on her difficult routine.
The 24-year-old made history at the competition. She became the first UCLA gymnast to win multiple NCAA uneven bars championships, capturing the 2025 and 2023 titles.
Chiles also earned the highly-coveted title of cover girl for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue this year along with fellow gymnast Livvy Dunne, actress Salma Hayek, and entrepreneur Lauren Chan.
The two-time Olympian announced even more exciting news on May 21. Chiles revealed that she's traveling to Las Vegas this weekend after being tapped as a presenter for the 2025 American Musics Awards.
This year's awards ceremony, hosted by Jennifer Lopez, airs live on CBS on May 26.
Chiles joined a star-studded list of presenters that includes Cara Delevingne, Nikki Glaser, Shaboozey, Tiffany Hadish, Blake Shelton, Ciara, Wayne Brady, and more.
This won't be Chiles first time presenting, as she also help hand out awards at the 2024 Video Music Awards in September.
The ceremony will also feature performances by Shelton, Gwen Stefani, Benson Boone, Lainey Wilson, and Renee Rapp. Rapper Kendrick Lamar earned the most nominations (10) for the fan-voted awards while Post Malone came in second with eight nods.
