Simone Biles Eyeing Luxurious Purchase on Wednesday

Gymnastics superstar Simone Biles has been on a generational run over the last year or so.

She returned from the 2024 Paris Olympics with three golds and one silver medal, while also becoming the most decorated gymnast in U.S. history. In addition to her success at the Olympics, she headlined the "Gold Over America Tour," as she and other gymnasts made stops at 30 arenas across the country to perform in front of fans.

She also had some time for some fun and more honors this month, appearing at both the Kentucky Derby and the Met Gala, and receiving an honorary doctorate of Humane Letters degree at Washington University. While it's unclear what big event is next on the docket for Biles, there may be some shopping to be done.

Biles took to Instagram on Wednesday to share that she is eyeing a handbag from Chanel's Spring-Summer 2025 Ready-to-Wear collection.

"i need ittt ," wrote Biles.

In addition to revealing how much she likes and wants it, Biles also sent out a feeler to her followers.

"Anyone know/have a chanel rep," asked Biles.

Although Biles has a reported net worth of at least $16 million, she may be eyeing a partnership with the fashion giant.

As for the bag itself, it is currently listed at $5,500, and is washed Denim and gold-tone metal.

Whether or not a Chanel rep will come through for Biles is yet to be determined, but this isn't the first time she has shown an affinity for the designer brand. She went viral in 2022 while sporting a white bikini and a Chanel bucket hat at what looked to be a tropical getaway.

While Biles is one of the greatest athletes to ever grace the Earth, she does have one thing in common with the average joe, which is a yearning for shopping.
