Simone Biles Gets Honest About Biggest Wedding Mistake Her Husband Made

Simone Biles' life as a gymnast is all about precision. The smallest misstep can be the difference between gold and silver, or between winning and losing.

Biles has build a career on being one of the most technically sound gymnasts of all time, and she appeared to be on her way to more successful planning before her husband - Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens- made a  mistake at their wedding.

"They weren't wearing the correct colors I told them to, but it worked out," Biles said art the Time100 Gala last week about Owens and his groomsmen, according to E!.

"Oh, sure," Biles said when asked if she attempted to solve or fix the problem on her own independently. "Whenever we got on the side, I was like 'What are they wearing?'"

Biles said that fans shouldn't "blame" her husband for what happened at their wedding. IT hasn't seemed to affect them, as they're still happily married two years after the alleged mishap at the wedding.

Owens finished his first season with the Chicago Bears in 2024 after stints with the Arizona Cardinals, Houston Texans and Green Bay Packers. He broke up two passes and recovered two fumbles, including one on a blocked punt in the very first game of the season.

Biles won more gold with Team USA in Paris last summer in what could be her final Olympic games. If she doesn't elect to participate in home soil for 2028 in Los Angeles, she would still be among the most decorated athletes in any Olympic sport, joining names like Michael Phelps.

Biles is a frequent attendee at Bears games to support Owens, and the team allowed him to skip the first portion of camp to watch Biles compete in France with the rest of the United States gymnastics team.

The next step for Biles and Owens will be the annual Met Gala. This time around, Biles says she's spoken to Owens about their outfits and the need to coordinate.

"We have seen each other's looks just so that they're still a little bit cohesive with one another. That was really important," she said.

This year's Met Gala is set for May 5 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
