Simone Biles Sends Clear Message After Pregnancy News

Simone Biles is widely regarded as one of the greatest gymnasts of all time and the greatest gymnast in United States Olympic history. The 4-foot-8 gymnast gained notoriety when she led the United States artistic gymnastics team to a gold medal in 2016, with the team nicknamed the “Final Five.”

Her legacy was further cemented when she once again led the U.S. artistic gymnastics team to gold in 2024, with the team this time nicknamed the “Golden Girls.” With 11 Olympic medals, seven of them gold, and 30 World Championship medals, 23 of them gold, she is the most decorated gymnast of all time, with an undeniable résumé that speaks for itself. President Joe Biden even awarded Biles the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2022.

Although Biles is a world-famous celebrity, she has proven her ability to stay down-to-earth by maintaining her relationship with childhood friend Rachel Roettger. The two met when they were 6 years old in gymnastics class and have remained close friends ever since. In March, Biles gifted Roettger a Hyundai Palisade SEL FWD. On Monday, Biles took to social media to celebrate her friend’s baby shower.

In an Instagram post, Biles shared three pictures from the baby shower. The 29-year-old also wrote a tender caption, calling Roettger her best friend and celebrating her as a mother-to-be.

“My best friend is the sweetest momma-to-be ❤️,” Biles wrote in the Instagram caption.
