After taking home the first leg of the Triple Crown, Justify followed that Kentucky Derby win with another victory in the Preakness. Ridden by jockey Mike Smith, Justify won with a time of 1:55.93 on a muddy track.

2017: Cloud Computing

In the 142nd running of the Preakness, Kentucky Derby winner Always Dreaming had any hopes of a Triple Crown squelched quickly. With a time of 1:55.98, jockey Javier Castellano rode Cloud Computing to victory, giving trainer Chad Brown his first Triple Crown win.

After American Pharoah broke the Triple Crown drought in 2015, Exaggerator ensured there'd be no Triple Crown winner in 2016. The horse, ridden by jockey Kent Desormeaux, won the Preakness with a 1:58.31 time. Kentucky Derby winner Nyquist finished third.
