Disney Parks Raising Ticket Prices For Some Tiers And Annual Passes_1 Disney

Many of us love to immerse ourselves in the magical world of Disney. That includes making occasional visits to the parks, which we all know can be a bit costly. On Wednesday, both Disneyland and Walt Disney World announced price hikes for certain tickets and annual passes.

Don’t worry, there’s no need to panic. Some tickets prices aren’t changing, meaning there are still plenty of ways for Disney park-goers to save. Keep reading to see which prices are changing.

A Breakdown of the Disney Park Price Changes

The price hikes will affect park-goers in both Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California and Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. Let’s take a look at some of the changes facing Disneyland single-day passes.

First off, Disneyland has NOT raised the price of the lowest-tier ticket, which has rested comfortably at $104 since 2019. Conversely, the highest tier, tier six, has bumped up from $206 to $224. For those who are unfamiliar with Disney ticket pricing, tiers are decided based on how busy the park is anticipated to be on a given day (for example, Christmas, and New Year’s would fall under the highest tier). For the week of Thanksgiving, ticket prices will be $224. The same goes for the holiday period of December 20 to January 3.

Tiers two through five have increased from anywhere between 1.5 percent and 4.9 percent, which is actually lower than last year’s jump. Last year, that increase was between 5.9 and 6.5 percent.

Some Disneyland Annual Pass options have also faced price hikes. Disney’s Inspire and Believe Magic Key passes, the two highest-tier passes, have raised by $150 and $100, respectively. That means the Inspire Key now costs $1,899, and the Believe Key costs $1,474. The two lower-tier passes, Enchant and Imagine, will stay the same.

Disney World Faces Similar Price Hikes

At Walt Disney World, single-day passes for certain days in November and December of 2026 have risen from $199 to over $200. The most popular days are estimated at $209 per ticket.

For those who are looking to make a trip to the park before then, you’re actually in luck. From now until October 2026, the lowest and highest-tier tickets will remain at $119 and $199, respectively. That means you can beat the price hike for a little while longer. Do note that all the tiers between, however, have already all increased by an average of $5.

Annual pass pricing at Disney World has spiked from between $20 and $80 for all passes. Parking has increased by $5.

Here Are More Ways to Save Despite Disney Price Hikes

Alright, now let’s get into what we really want to know. How can we beat the price hike? Well, as I mentioned before, ticket prices for Disney World’s highest and lowest tiers will remain unchanged until October 2026. Therefore, you can save by booking between those dates.

At Disneyland, there are 32 days to book in the next six months where $104 tickets are still available at the lowest tier. Additionally, Disneyland just announced a new 3-Day Park Hopper Ticket for California residents good for January 1 through May 21, 2026. The ticket will cost $249, which is essentially 50 percent in savings. Both Disneyland and Walt Disney World also offer select discounts to those who book a stay at the respective resorts.

Here’s what a Disney representative said in a statement about the recent price hikes:

“Disney Parks offer a full day of experiences each day, with ticket, hotel and dining options designed to suit a wide range of needs and budgets for all who visit. Our commitment to creating magical experiences for everyone remains at the heart of what we do — and that will never change”
