Major League Baseball announced the 2022 regular season schedule today, which means we can all start circling those can’t-miss series’ well in advance. Here is everything you need to know about what 2022 has in store for the Phillies.

The Phils will take on the Astros to start the season before travelling to Washington to face the Nats. Their first home-game will see them host the Athletics. The Mets will come to town shortly after that as the season gets into full swing.

The month of May could be a tricky one for the Phillies, who have to host four California teams on the bounce. The Padres, the Dodgers, the Giants, and the Angels will all come to town to take their swing at Joe Girardi’s men.

Things really get tasty in June, where the Phillies will play against the Angels. They’re currently 1-12 against them and haven’t won a game since 2003, making the idea of a victory that much more salivating. Oh, and Mike Trout being from New Jersey and a die-hard Eagles fan, therefore forever being linked with the Phils prior to his huge payday is bound to add a little more fuel on the fire.

The season ends on the road with series’ against the Cubs and Nationals.

The Phillies are back in action tonight against the Nationals, just 24-hours after Bryce Harper kissed his former team softly into the night after scoring his 17th home-run of the season.
