The Los Angeles Dodgers picked up another win on Monday, continuing their undefeated start to Cactus League play with a 9-4 win over the Colorado Rockies.
The Dodgers started the scoring when Gavin Lux singled after walks from Freddie Freeman and Teoscar Hernandez. Lux finished the day 1-for-3 with in his third game of 2024 Spring Training but first at shortstop.
L.A. increased their lead in the second inning when Mookie Betts doubled following a walk from Andy Pages to double the lead. Freeman followed with a two-RBI single of his own to put the Dodgers up by four.
The Rockies scored their first run on a solo homer from Kris Bryant in the bottom of the third, and added two more on a long shot from Elias Díaz.
They tied the game in the seventh with a sacrifice fly from Alan Trejo.

The Dodgers prospects and Minor Leaguers led a major rally in the eighth inning, which was started by a single from Austin Gauthier.
Two more singles from Taylor Young and Drew Avans loaded the bases, and Travis Swaggerty hit a sac fly to put the Dodgers up 5-4.
Ryan Ward followed with an RBI double, and Dalton Rushing grounded out to drive in Avans.
Kody Hoese then followed with a single, and Hunter Feduccia doubled to drive in the fifth run of the inning and ninth of the game for the Dodgers.
Overall, the pitching staff had a solid day with Ryan Yarbrough getting the start and pitching 1.2 no-hit innings with three strikeouts.
Next up for the Dodgers is a matchup against the Chicago White Sox with Shohei Ohtani set to appear in his first game with the club. Bobby Miller is also scheduled to start the game.
