The injury bug continues to bite the Chicago White Sox. Left fielder Andrew Benintendi left Saturday's ballgame in the fourth inning due to what the team is calling left achilles tendinitis.

After opening the scoring in the top of the fourth inning with his fourth home run of the season, Benintendi was replaced in left field by Dominic Fletcher

While there is no word yet on how long the highest-paid player in White Sox history will be on the shelf, achilles injuries can take some time to heal. A trip to the IL might very well be on Benintendi's horizon.

Entering play on Saturday, Benintendi was slashing .190/.226/.265 on the season.
