The Arizona Diamondbacks have recalled RHP Luis Frías from Triple-A Reno in return for reliever Andrew Chafin being placed on the Paternity List.
Frias will make his third stint with the Diamondbacks this season, both of his previous call-ups lasted less than a week.
While the 25-year-old reliever can touch 100 MPH on his fastball, Frías has struggled to find the strike zone in his five appearances with Arizona this season.
Through 6.2 innings, Luis has walked seven batters, allowed 10 hits, and has posted an ERA of 10.80.
Meanwhile, the Diamondbacks have already struggled tremendously in their bullpen, as a couple late-game slip-ups led to a sweep by the Blue Jays last weekend.
Arizona will now face the best team in baseball after losing four straight games.
This series against the Braves will begin Tuesday at 4:20 p.m. in Atlanta. The last time these two teams saw each other, the Braves took two of three in Chase Field.
