Apr 20, 2025; Arlington, Texas, USA; Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow (31) leaves the game against the Texas Rangers during the fifth inning at Globe Life Field.

The Los Angeles Dodgers are fresh off a series victory over the Texas Rangers; however, during Sunday's matchup, starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow was removed in the fifth inning due to an apparent leg injury.

It was later revealed by the Dodgers that Glasnow left the game because of lower leg cramps, making Dodger fans let out a sigh of relief that it wasn't an arm injury.

Glasnow recorded a career-high 134 innings in 2024, but missed the last three months and all of the Dodgers' 2024 playoff run.

Following the series finale with the Rangers, manager Dave Roberts revealed the severity of the injury, saying Glasnow is likely  NOT going to miss a start.

Dodgers reporter Fabian Ardaya also indicated that Glasnow feels fine now and said he was dealing with cramps in both calves.

Los Angeles seemed to have dodged a bullet as they are already facing some setbacks in the starting rotation early in the year.

For Glasnow, there's no doubt he is/can be one of the best pitchers in all of baseball with his pitching arsenal, command, and strikeout ability, but limited injuries have been difficult throughout his career.

In Sunday's game, Glasnow went four scoreless innings and struck out six batters.

Glasnow also went on the note in the postgame that it wasn't a matter of fatigue, but more so because he was dehydrated. Once he was able to fill his body with fluids, the cramping stopped. This will be an interesting storyline for Glasnow as he makes his next couple of starts.
