As the Arizona Diamondbacks gear up for a wildcard push, the 2026 MLB schedule has been released on the side, and the D-Backs have a lot of key dates on their plate.
The Diamondbacks will be facing off against their division rival, the Los Angeles Dodgers, in a four-game road series to kick off the season in the 2026 MLB Opening Day weekend. Arizona has its hands full the first month of the season, as they takes on the Detroit Tigers, Atlanta Braves, New York Mets, Philadelphia Phillies, San Diego Padres, and Milwaukee Brewers. A tough stretch to say the least.
They will have their Mother’s Day and Father’s Day events both at home when the Diamondbacks take on the New York Mets on Sunday, May 10th, and Sunday, June 21st against the Minnesota Twins. That won’t be the only event that will be celebrated, as the D-Backs will be home on Independence Day as they take on the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday, July 4th.
Late-season key matchups include three series at home against division opponents, as the San Diego Padres, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Colorado Rockies will come to Chase Field August 3rd-12th. If the D-Backs plan to contend for an NL West championship, that will be a key stretch that they will need to capitalize on. Looking towards September, their last home series at Chase Field will be a three-game weekend series against the New York Yankees on September 18th-20th, which could be crucial late in the season.

More news and updates will come out over the offseason about certain events and giveaways planned during their season, though this schedule release hits differently for D-Backs fans. After a 2023 World Series appearance, the expectations are high, and the schedule gives a glimpse into the future with a feeling of hope. Anything can happen during this 2026 MLB season, and the Diamondbacks could be prepared to strike.
