Atlanta Braves Center Fielder Michael Harris II had a series for the ages over the weekend against the Texas Rangers. He had two singles, two doubles, two triples, and two home runs. He is the first MLB player since 1901 to have two of each type of hit in a three-game series. Unfortunately, it did not lead to success on the diamond. Atlanta was swept in the series.
Harris is having a down 2025. He is hitting .228 with 9 home runs and 49 RBI. Will this great series help him get back on track?

The best season of Harris’ career came in 2022. That was his rookie season in Major League Baseball. He was named National League Rookie of the Year. The young center fielder has also been the subject of trade speculation recently. It has been a poor season for the Atlanta Braves. If the team decides to tear it down this week, he could be sent out of town.
Harris will look to build on his great series tonight when the Braves begin a three-game series on the road against the Kansas City Royals. He will look to keep it going over the final two months of the regular season. Whether he will remain with the Braves is to be determined.
