The offense of the Baltimore Orioles had a great performance this afternoon at home against the Toronto Blue Jays. Baltimore’s offense powered them to a 16-4 victory. The Orioles hit four home runs, including two by Third Baseman Ramon Urias. Shortstop Gunnar Henderson also added 4 RBI in the blowout win.
Orioles Starting Pitcher Charlie Morton surrendered three earned runs over six innings of work. He received more than enough run support on Tuesday afternoon. Even though this season has not been a good one for the Baltimore Orioles, their offense has found its form recently. Baltimore has scored 10+ runs in three of their last four games. Can the Baltimore Orioles keep it going?
Baltimore ended the regular season with playoff aspirations. Unfortunately, they have fallen short. They are in last place in the American League East. Given such a disappointing season, the Orioles may have an active few days before the 2025 MLB Trade Deadline. The team dealt Relief Pitcher Gregory Soto to the New York Mets a few days ago. New York is also reportedly interested in Ramón Laureano. Even though this season has been a dud, the Orioles have a talented roster.
Baltimore’s offense will look to keep it going this evening in the second half of their doubleheader against the Toronto Blue Jays. The offense’s play over the last few weeks should give Baltimore Orioles fans hope for the final two months of the regular season and heading into 2026.
