At the NFL Combine, Travis Hunter was asked if what he does on the football field is harder than what Shohei Ohtani does in baseball.

Hunter quickly responded with "Probably me, what I do in football because it's a lot on your body. Ohtani, he's a great player but you gotta do a lot in football."

Deion Sanders, the former NFL and MLB star, has been Hunter's coach throughout his time in college. In 2022, Sanders appeared on the "Club Shay Shay Podcast" and was adamant that baseball was harder.

"Easiest sport was football” Sanders stated. When asked what was the hardest, Sanders simply replied, "Baseball".

Naturally, Hunter's comments have struck a nerve in the baseball world.

Jomboy Media's Chris Rose quoted Hunter's clip with the caption "Both are incredibly difficult. Only one man can really answer this one, right @DeionSanders"

Also, Boston Globe reporter Julian McWilliams took to X to say "Tell him go talk to his head coach in college and see what he says."

Hunter should be one of the first names called during the NFL Draft this April. If he can perform in the NFL how Shohei Ohtani has performed in his professional career, one organization will have a true franchise-altering player.
