The Los Angeles Dodgers capped off a dramatic postseason run last Saturday by winning Game 7 of the World Series in extra innings against the Toronto Blue Jays, securing back-to-back championships for the franchise. While they also won in 2024, a new face emerged during this year’s title push: Blake Snell. The 32-year-old veteran left-hander joined Los Angeles last offseason on a five-year, $182 million deal, the first major move of the winter.

Although Snell missed a significant portion of the regular season due to injury, he delivered when it mattered most. Over six playoff appearances, he posted a 3.18 ERA and struck out 41 batters across 34 innings. He picked up three wins during the run, helping the Dodgers clinch the championship and earning his first career World Series title.

Since then, Snell has embraced the celebration. He appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday, then made a public appearance the following night at Crypto.com Arena to support the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers honored Snell along with his teammates before a game against the San Antonio Spurs, recognizing his role in the Dodgers’ title run and his growing presence in the city’s sports scene.

Fresh off his first World Series title, Blake Snell has started to embrace the spotlight in Los Angeles. On Thursday, he announced a new partnership with the soda brand OLIPOP through a collaborative Instagram post. As part of the rollout, Snell and the company launched a giveaway for fans.

Snell’s off-field profile continues to grow following his postseason success, and this giveaway marks another step in connecting with fans beyond the mound.

Snell is now on his fourth MLB team, having suited up for the Dodgers after previous stints with the Rays, Padres and Mariners. He has long been considered one of the league’s top starting pitchers, with two Cy Young Awards, an ERA title in both leagues and an All-Star selection to his name. Now, he finally adds a World Series championship to his resume. Snell will look to build on that success in 2026 as the Dodgers aim for a three-peat.
