Braves vs. Dodgers: The Atlanta Braves resume their three-game series on the road against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Saturday night. The Braves fell to a 3-1 loss to the Dodgers on Friday.
Atlanta grabbed an early lead but could not hold on. Chris Sale delivered another quality start on the mound, pitching 7.0 innings with two runs and seven strikeouts. But their lineup somehow managed only one run despite getting nine hits. The Braves have now lost three of their last four games.
Los Angeles, on the other hand, came up with another comeback win after giving up an early lead. Emmet Sheehan allowed only one run over 4.2 innings, and the bullpen delivered a superb performance, while the lineup produced three runs despite getting just five base hits. The Dodgers have collected five wins from the last six games.

Spencer Strider will make his second start of the year for the Atlanta Braves in Game 2. The 27-year-old did not have a good return from the IL last week. He threw 87 pitches over just 3.1 innings, allowing three earned runs off four hits and five walks despite getting six strikeouts.
Blake Snell is going to start on the mound for the Los Angeles Dodgers on Saturday. The two-time Cy Young winner will make his season debut after starting the campaign on the IL. He was scratched from his final rehab start to make a slightly early return to the team.
