Reds reliever Brent Suter was a late addition to the caravan and the Cincinnati native couldn't be happier to be part of the annual event.
He described what it was like to put on a Reds jersey for the first time:
"It's amazing. I've obviously heard of the Reds caravan growing up, never got to be at one of the stops," Suter said. "They invited me and I was like 'Uh, yeah, absolutely. I'll move everything I can around to be a part of this. They gave me the jersey this morning I've just been looking down at it every couple minutes like 'it's real, it's real.'"
Suter should be a big part of the Reds' bullpen this season. He's as excited as anyone to be on the roster and has a realistic chance to make a difference on a young, but talented Cincinnati roster that is hoping to make a playoff run.
