The Milwaukee Brewers may have an off day today as the team travels to Colorado, but that doesn't mean the front office is sitting back on the golf course and relaxing. Brewers GM Matt Arnold has been making moves and he just made another.

Earlier this morning, the Brewers swung a surprising early season trade with the Red Sox for right-handed pitcher Quinn Priester. They sent out their top outfield prospect Yophery Rodriguez and a Comp A Draft pick plus a player to be named to complete that deal.

To open a 40 man roster spot for Priester, the Brewers designated Grant Wolfram for assignment. Well, now Wolfram has his new assignment.

Brewers acquire OF Daz Cameron in trade with Orioles

The Brewers announced they had traded Wolfram to the Baltimore Orioles in exchange for 28 year old outfielder Daz Cameron and cash considerations.

Cameron is the son of former Brewers outfielder and longtime MLB player Mike Cameron, who played 17 years in the big leagues, including spending 2008 and 2009 with the Brewers.

Daz Cameron has not had quite the career success to this point. He's made appearances in four MLB seasons with little success. He has a career .201/.258/.329 slash line with a 68 OPS+ and -1.2 bWAR. He has 430 total plate appearances in these four seasons.

Cameron will report to Triple-A Nashville.

The Brewers were missing some minor league outfield depth after Brewer Hicklen and Manuel Margot went to Detroit at the end of spring training. Now they get some additional depth that's close to the big leagues that can help out if anything else happens to the outfield before Blake Perkins gets back.
