The Milwaukee Brewers are lining up Shane Drohan to start Sunday’s series finale against the Atlanta Braves at the 2026 MLB Little League Classic in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
Drohan’s expected start gives Milwaukee a clear plan for the nationally televised matchup while allowing the club to manage his workload during a demanding stretch of the season.
The pitching alignment was reported by Hunter Baumgardt on X, with the Brewers expected to keep their Friday and Saturday starters under wraps for now. Milwaukee enters the weekend as one of the National League’s top teams.
Brewers Manager Pat Murphy says Shane Drohan is lined up to start on Sunday in Williamsport, and thus pitched a couple innings tonight.

We’ll get the official starters for Friday & Saturday in the next couple days, but one could venture a guess it’ll be Miz & Henderson.
Drohan has already been used in different roles this season as Milwaukee manages its pitching depth. The left-hander recently worked in relief against the Seattle Mariners, part of a 22-0 Brewers victory that tied the franchise record for runs in a game.
The Sunday assignment also comes as Milwaukee continues to navigate a deep pitching staff. Logan Henderson has emerged as a reliable young starter, while Jacob Misiorowski has continued to be an important part of the rotation after his breakout stretch earlier this season.
