Bryce Harper sends a strong message to the Diamondbacks ahead of Game 6

The Philadelphia Phillies are on the verge of clinching a second consecutive World Series appearance, and Bryce Harper wasted no time sending a bold message to the Diamondbacks ahead of Game 6.

Back in front of their passionate Philly fan base at Citizens Bank Park, Harper made quite an entrance to the clubhouse, donning an all-black outfit.

Symbolizing that he is ready to celebrate the Diamondbacks funeral tonight.

The Phillies are 6-0 at home this postseason.

Standing in Harper’s way is Merrill Kelly, who is pitching for the second time in this series.

In their previous encounter during Game 2, Harper went 0-2 with a walk and a strikeout against Kelly.

However, overall, Harper has so far shined in October as he is 5-16 at the plate in this NLCS.

Recently, in Game 5, he played a pivotal role in securing a 3-2 series lead for his team by going 2-4 at the plate and scoring three runs.

It’s worth noting that Bryce has only played in one Game 6 out of his 47 playoff games. That lone Game 6 took place last year during the World Series, where he struggled, going 0-4 against the Astros.

This time around, he finds himself on the opposite side of the matchup, with his team holding a 3-2 series lead.

The first pitch for the Phillies vs. Diamondbacks showdown is slated for 2:07 PM Arizona time.
