Cal Raleigh has one of the best nicknames in sports, and the Seattle Mariners catcher has parlayed that into a fantastic endorsement deal.
Raleigh is nicknamed “Big Dumper,” which is a reference to his prominent backside. The nickname originated in the minors and has gained popularity as Raleigh has established himself as one of MLB’s best power hitters.
Raleigh made history on Monday night by becoming the first catcher to ever win the Home Run Derby. Two days later, sanitation services company Honey Bucket announced a new partnership with Raleigh. Honey Bucket specializes in portable toilets, a.k.a. porta-potties.

Honey Bucket, a leader in portable sanitation services, is proud to announce a new partnership with Seattle’s powerhouse catcher and fan favorite, All-Star Cal Raleigh—affectionately known as Big Dumper.https://t.co/72Ps25Rz6g pic.twitter.com/jvevw00liu
It doesn’t get much better than that.
Raleigh leads the majors with 38 home runs. He made his first All-Star appearance this week, and he even drew the attention of one of the greatest pitchers of all time.
If Raleigh continues to blast homers the way he has through the first four months of the seasons, there will be plenty more endorsement opportunities for him going forward. Just don’t expect any to be as perfect as his new partnership with Honey Bucket.
