Andrew Wilsher, Managing Editor at Pickswise, said, “California is home to a wide range of sports, with three NFL, four NBA, four MLB, three NHL, and four MLS franchises. This is the most in America, and it shows how lucky sports fans in the Golden State are.
“When it comes to stadiums, Californians are also spoiled, with honorable mentions like the Oakland Coliseum failing to make the top ten.'”I agree with Wilsher, California is home to a wide range of professional and college sports.
The Oakland Coliseum was a great stadium to watch and cover Oakland Athletics games, despite sewage issues. The Athletics currently play at Sutter Health Park in West Sacramento, as their new ballpark in Las Vegas is expected to open in 2028.
