St. Louis Cardinals left fielder Tyler O'Neill left Sunday's game against the Boston Red Sox with left hamstring tightness.
O'Neill doubled in the ninth inning, pulling up lame when he reached second base and exited the game soon after. He ended the day 3-for-4 with a run scored and a stolen base.
Tyler O’Neill sent one to the gap, but pulled up at second. Came out of the game. Not good. #STLCards

The 26-year-old is slashing .228/.282/.346 with four home runs and 28 RBI in 44 games.
It's unfortunate timing for O'Neill, who had just returned from the injury list earlier this month. After missing 19 games with a shoulder impingement, the Cardinals activated O'Neill on June 7.
The two-time gold glover had been playing well since his return, batting .381/.354/.477 with two home runs and eight RBI over his last 12 games.
