The St. Louis Cardinals are getting ready for an exciting youth movement this weekend.
The team announced on Thursday that they had promoted top prospects Nolan Gorman and Matthew Liberatore to their big-league club. Liberatore — a starting pitcher — will make his debut on Saturday against the Pittsburgh Pirates, while Gorman will play second base and hit sixth in his first MLB game on Friday.

St. Louis enters their weekend series against Pittsburgh at 20-18 and in second place in the NL Central.
