Chase Field will host 2024 MLB Draft Combine
Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Chase Field, the home of the Arizona Diamondbacks, will host the 2024 MLB Draft Combine. It will be the second consecutive year it hosts the draft combine. 300 top prospects from the 2024 MLB Draft have been invited to participate in the showcase, which will take place June 19-23.

This is the fourth annual MLB Draft Combine, which started in 2021. The first event was hosted in the USA National Baseball Training Complex in Cary, NC before moving out to Petco Park in San Diego for 2022, then Chase Field since. 298 draft-eligible players participated in last year’s event, including 39 of the top 50 picks in the 2023 MLB Draft. There is some incentive for players to attend the draft combine, as participants selected in the 2024 MLB Draft are entitled to at least 75% of the full recommended slot value for their selection.

For the 2024 MLB Draft Combine, this is the schedule of workouts and games:

  • June 18, 9:30am-3:30pm: Scouted workouts
  • June 18, 6pm: High School Game (Red vs. Navy)
  • June 19, 8am-3pm: Scouted workouts
  • June 20-21: Strength & Conditioning Assessments

The 2024 MLB Draft will be held July 14-16 in Arlington, Texas as part of the All-Star game festivities. The Diamondbacks hold three of the top 35 selections in the draft, picking at 29, 31, and 35.
