Chipper Jones takes huge shot at Danny Kanell

Chipper Jones vs. Danny Kanell is the rivalry you have but didn’t know you needed.

Kanell, a former quarterback at Florida State, is a college football analyst and known for his trolling behavior. On Saturday, Kanell jabbed his rival Florida Gators by comparing them to the Kansas Jayhawks.

“Congrats Florida. You are the Kansas Jayhawks of the SEC!!” Kanell wrote on X.

Kanell was insulting Florida for being just 6-5 and only able to play a spoiler role, which is what they have done with consecutive wins over ranked opponents (LSU and Ole Miss).

Kansas is 5-6 and has beaten three straight ranked opponents (Iowa State, BYU and Colorado), making the comparison apt.

Chipper Jones saw Kanell’s jab at Florida and responded harshly.

“Hey Danny….i (sic) say this with all due respect for ur (sic) mediocre career and even less mediocre career after throwing senseless picks at FSU……STFU! We know u (sic) hate the SEC, we get it. No need to pee in our corn flakes cuz ur (sic) on ur (sic) period! Congrats on Charleston Southern,” Jones wrote on X.
