Chris 'Mad Dog' Russo furious the Dodgers want Aaron Judge

According to MLB.com, the Los Angeles Dodgers have shown interest in home-run king Aaron Judge. This news has Chris 'Mad Dog' Russo fuming.

"The Dodgers want Aaron Judge? Here's the franchise that gave $170 million to Freeman, that gave Betts $400 million, they have more money, they haven't won since '88. And now they want to bring Judge in?" Russo exclaimed

Mad Dog is clearly not a fan of teams picking off superstars from other franchises. However, it is a trend that has become popular, especially in the NBA and MLB.

"But now the Dodgers, who don't spend enough money, have got to spend another $400 million?" Russo added. "Enough with the Dodgers going out there and poaching all these players from other organizations. That has me bothered."

If Judge were to join the Dodgers, the team would be forced into moving Mookie Betts to second base so that Judge could take over in right field. Betts has won five Gold Gloves as a right fielder but said he would be open to swapping positions if it means adding Judge to their roster.

“Being able to play second base is kind of something I’ve been doing my whole life,” Betts told reporters. “Getting to go back there is just a lot of fun for me, personally. I really, really do enjoy it, but they pay me to catch these fly balls.”

The Dodgers fell in the playoffs in shocking fashion to the San Diego Padres in four games. LA led 1-0 but dropped three straight games, scoring only eight runs in those contests.

Judge set an American League record this season, hitting 62 home runs for the Yankees.
