Cincinnati Reds starting pitcher Hunter Greene met with the media on Saturday and provided a positive update on his elbow.

"All I have is inflammation in my elbow," Greene told the media before Saturday's game against the Pirates. "I have edema. That's exactly what it is. My UCL looks fantastic."

Greene mentioned it will take about two weeks for the swelling to go down and then he will be able to resume throwing.

This is very positive news, and it seems that Greene has avoided serious injury.
