Cincinnati Reds Place Outfielder Stuart Fairchild On Injured List, Call Up Rece Hinds

The Cincinnati Reds placed Stuart Fairchild on the 15-day injured list with a left thumb strain and have recalled Rece Hinds.

Fairchild was the second Red to be placed on the injured list on Tuesday. They placed Nick Lodolo on the injured list earlier in the day.

Hinds is batting .316 with a 1.218 OPS and five home runs in his 38 plate appearances for the Reds this season.
