The Cincinnati Reds have dropped their last two games. This leaves them with a 39-44 record. They are heading into their game against the Brewers on Tuesday evening. The Reds are 12.5 games back from the Brewers in the NL Central heading into tonight’s game. Rhett Lowder will pitch for the Reds. Brandon Sproat will pitch against him. The first pitch will come at 7:40 EST from American Family Field. Before tonight’s game, the Cincinnati Reds announced four roster moves. Welcoming one important piece back from the injured list with Emilio Pagan, and sending Dane Myers to the Injured list. Along with sending another pitcher back to Triple-A and calling up a young bat from Louisville, all before tonight’s game.

Emilio Pagan

The Cincinnati Reds have activated Emilio Pagan from the 15-day injured list ahead of their game with Milwaukee on Tuesday. Pagan has been on the injured list since May 6th after suffering a left hamstring strain. He has pitched in 15 games this year for the Reds, recording six saves, two wins, and a 6.43 ERA through 14 innings pitched. During his two-game rehab stint with the Louisville Bats in Triple-A, Pagan pitched two innings. He gave up one hit. He allowed no runs and no walks.

Zach McCambley

The Reds have optioned Zach McCambley to Triple-A. McCambley has pitched in four games for Cincinnati this season without factoring into a decision. He has a 6.23 ERA, given up five walks, struck out four, and has a 2.54 WHIP through four and one-third innings pitched. He will head back to pitch for the Louisville Bats in Triple-A.

Dane Myers

The Cincinnati Reds have placed Dane Myers on the 10-day injured list with a left shoulder contusion. Myers left last night’s game after colliding with the outfield wall. He has played in 63 games for the Reds this season with a .256 batting average. Myers has six doubles, three home runs, 14 RBI, and five steals on the year.

Ivan Johnson

The Reds have selected the contract of Ivan Johnson from Triple-A Louisville today ahead of their game with the Brewers. Johnson has played in 55 games for Louisville this year. He has eight doubles, nine home runs, 28 RBI, and slashed .290/.388/.489 In Triple-A.
