Chase Burns made his pro debut on Wednesday afternoon against the Rangers and was impressive in his one inning of work.
Burns faced four batters and struck out three of them.
After the game, Burns was reassigned to minor league camp, according to Gordon Wittenmyer of The Cincinnati Enquirer.
The Reds drafted Burns with the second overall pick in the 2024 MLB Draft. He'll likely start the season with High-A Dayton or Double-A Chattanooga.
