The 2024 Minnesota Twins will have familiar voices handling play-by-play duties, it’s just that one of the voices will move from the radio booth to the TV box.

Both the Star Tribune and The Athletic's Aaron Gleeman say the Twins will announce Friday that Cory Provus will replace Dick Bremer in the TV booth. Bremer is out after four decades on the job and Provus is sliding to TV after 11 seasons calling games on the Twins Radio Network.

Kris Attebury, the long time studio host and fill in play-by-play announcer on the radio, will take Provus’ spot alongside Dan Gladden on the radio.

After Bremer's departure was announced following the end of the 2023 season, Provus was quickly named as the favorite to take over as the lead TV broadcaster.

Bremer was offered and has taken a special assistant role in the club's front office that allow him to continue to be an "ambassador of Minnesota Twins baseball through his storytelling abilities, while also remaining a key representative at Twins community and fan events" the club announced.

"For 40 years, I've been blessed to totally immerse myself in the game that I love for the team that I love,” Bremer said at the time.

"In those 40 years, I broadcast 4,972 Twins games. Over the last year or so, I thought it would really be cool to make it to 5,000. Then, I thought to myself, how selfish would that be? A broadcast should NEVER be about the announcer. It should ALWAYS be about the game and those who play it."
