The Snakes came alive once again on Saturday afternoon as the Arizona Diamondbacks defeated the St. Louis Cardinals by a score of 10-1 at Chase Field.

Arizona made a point to focus on making sure their offense kept on rolling on Saturday. Corbin Carroll hit a leadoff triple to bring the energy early. Geraldo Perdomo hit a single to center to score Carroll, right before Eugenio Suárez started his Saturday off strong. Suárez hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the first inning to give the D-Backs a 3-0 lead in commanding fashion.

The Snakes were able to focus on keeping their foot on the gas pedal as Eugenio Suárez hit his second home-run of the day, making it his fifth multi home-run game of the season.

Corbin Carroll hit his second triple of the day in the bottom of the fourth inning that scored Blaze Alexander. Adrian Del Castillo was able to get a double to score Geraldo Perdomo to let Arizona truly break the game open by a score of 9-0 in the bottom of the fourth inning.

Ryne Nelson held it down all day for Arizona, as he pitched six innings while only allowing one earned run on four hits while striking out four. Nelson is slowly becoming a piece that the Diamondbacks can rely on and focus on for the future.

Arizona now looks towards Sunday as they have an opportunity to sweep the St. Louis Cardinals and make some noise right before the trade deadline.
