The Los Angeles Dodgers have been on a tear to begin the 2025 season.

Having the best record in the league at 27-14, Los Angeles has been able to battle their way to the top of the NL West despite the long list of injuries they have been dealing with this season.

After a tie in their four-game series with the Arizona Diamondbacks, they will travel back to Dodger Stadium to take on the Athletics in a three-game stint.

Los Angeles is tied with the Detroit Tigers for having the second-most wins at home.

With all of this being said, word has got out and yet another one of the Dodgers starting pitchers has announced that he could be missing some time.

Roki Sasaki experiencing arm soreness, could miss time

Before their series against the Athletics, word has got out that rookie right-handed pitcher Roki Sasaki has been going through some arm soreness, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reported on Tuesday.

It's been reported that Dave Roberts said Roki Sasaki could be on his way to the injured list.

Sasaki signed with the Dodgers in the offseason after dominating Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) league.

After posting a career ERA of 2.10 in four seasons with the Chiba Lotte Marines, he decided to take the next step and sign with the Dodgers on a rookie contract.

In eight starts so far in 2025, he's posted numbers that include a 4.72 ERA, 1.49 WHIP with 24 strikeouts and 22 walks in 34.1 innings pitched.

If Sasaki makes his way to the injured list, he would be joining eight other starting pitchers of the Dodgers on the list.

Other pitchers that have landed on the list include Blake Snell, Tyler Glasnow, Clayton Kershaw and River Ryan just to name a few.

Those names don't include the seven bullpen pitchers the Dodgers have on the injured list as well.
