As the Los Angeles Dodgers have been able to win eight of their last nine, there has been a lot of players that have been able to step up.
There are 14 players that are on LA's injury list and that hasn't stopped them from continuing their dominance from last year's World Series win.
Outfielder Teoscar Hernandez also seemed to hurt himself on Monday, resulting in Chris Taylor taking over for him in the fourth inning.
With this being said, the Dodgers were able to open their three-game series against the Miami Marlins with a 7-4 win on Monday.
In the win, both Shohei Ohtani and Freddie Freeman were able to hit a home run, but Freeman's meant more to him.
In the top of the third, Freeman missed on a changeup pitch low and outside from the Marlins' Sandy Alcantara.
His second pitch of the at-bat was a fastball that was too far over the plate and Freeman knocked it for a home run – his 350th career home run and his 59th since joining the Dodgers in 2022.

As the 35-year-old first baseman was rounding the bases and waved the ball goodbye, it seemed as if he knew he hit a career milestone.
Not just this, but Freeman's 2025 season has been off to an electric start.
Through 25 games this season, Freeman has a batting average of .337, an on-base percentage of .414 and a .663 slugging percentage while driving in 23 RBIs and seven home runs.
It seems as if Freeman is getting better as he ages and hasn't missed a beat even after starting the 2025 season on the 10-day injured list due to an ankle sprain he sustained off the field.
He will look to extend his 10-game hitting streak on Tuesday when the Dodgers play the Marlins in the second game of the three-game series.
