Hall of Fame broadcaster Vin Scully was the voice of the Los Angeles Dodgers for nearly seven decades before he retired in October 2016 and, thus, watched from home as the Dodgers defeated the Tampa Bay Rays to win the 2020 World Series.
As Thomas Harrigan noted for the league's website, Scully received a World Series championship ring from the Dodgers on Monday.
Couldn't wait to share this with you all. Thanks @Dodgers https://t.co/XVEXsHfrkv

The Dodgers won six World Series championships during Scully's 67 years with the club but hadn't claimed the crown since 1988 before last fall. Dodgers players, coaches and staff members received their celebratory rings during an on-field ceremony held on April 9.
Terrific ceremony! Congratulations @Dodgers players, coaches, staff and, of course, all the fans! #ITFDB https://t.co/zoR0VIzxn4
