Dodgers offering 'Fully Vaccinated Fan Section' for Saturday's game vs. Padres

Fans of the Los Angeles Dodgers who have been fully vaccinated will receive a new perk at Dodger Stadium.

If a fan has had at least two weeks since their final COVID-19 vaccine dose, they can get tickets for Dodger Stadium's "Fully Vaccinated Fan Section" for Saturday's game against the San Diego Padres, according to KCBS.

Saturday's game will be a test of the new "Fully Vaccinated Fan Section." If successful, it may lead to adding vaccinated fan sections to other games, according to the Los Angeles Times.

"The fully vaccinated fan section allows for more flexible seating options while maintaining safety within the fan zone and throughout the stadium," the Dodgers said in a statement.

Social distancing is not required in the section and fans will be seated next to each other instead of in small, spaced-out groups. Masks are still required unless actively eating or drinking.

Children between ages two and 16 can also sit in the section if they can provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours before the game. Children under two do not need to take a test to sit in the section.

According to the Los Angeles Times, ticket prices for the section range from $121 to $154.
