Dodgers Trade Deadline Plans Revealed Amid Blake Snell, Tyler Glasnow News

There has simply been nothing the Los Angeles Dodgers can do on the injury front. Injuries are uncontrollable in most scenarios, and with the number of arms they've added from external teams over the past few years, it's tough to even blame the Dodgers for the injuries the pitching staff has faced.

However, it’s certainly concerning that Los Angeles has dealt with the injuries it has, and it could have an impact on what the Dodgers plan to do at the trade deadline.

When searching for what Los Angeles might do, Mark Feinsand of MLB.com recently suggested that the Dodgers will do everything they can to improve their roster, but it depends on their medical outlook.

"Depending on what the medical outlook is for their injured arms, Los Angeles could very well scour the market for rotation help in its effort to become the first repeat World Series champions since the 1999-2000 Yankees," Feinsand wrote.

It's only fair to wonder if the Dodgers can even review their medical evaluation before the deadline and feel confident, even if they somehow regain all their arms before then, which obviously won't happen.

The harsh reality is that no matter if the Dodgers get some guys back or not, they'll likely face a few other injuries, whether it be in the postseason or sometime around September.

Injuries are an unfortunate part of the game, but it's something that Andrew Friedman has to consider.

He's continued to do so over the past few years, so expect him to be active as the Dodgers are searching to go back-to-back with one of the more talented teams MLB has ever seen.

With Blake Snell and Tyler Glasnow still working back.
